Ingredients
- 4 cups whole milk (preferably organic)
- 2 tablespoons live milk kefir grains
- 1 clean glass quart jar
- Breathable cloth or coffee filter
- Rubber band
Instructions
- Place your kefir grains in a clean glass jar.
- Pour the milk over the grains and stir gently.
- Cover with a breathable cloth secured with a rubber band.
- Leave at room temperature (68-78°F) for 24-48 hours.
- When thickened and pleasantly tangy, strain out the grains using a plastic strainer.
